Happy Fathers Day. We hope that all the fathers and the soon to be fathers have a great day and a great week.
Concrete roofs are fire resistant, but how credible are roof tile companies when they say that these roofs resist fire? Actually, there is this thing called fire rating system applied to roofing materials. Class A rating means that the roof can withstand extreme exposure to fire that comes from sources outside the building. Class B rated roofs are those that can only resist moderate exposure to fire that comes from an outside source. Class C ratings are for roofs that can hardly resist exposure to fire that comes from an external source.
After several tests conducted to roofing materials, it is proven that concrete roofs belong to the Class A rating. They don’t catch fire from neighboring houses; therefore they can truly protect you and your home.
It is even resistant to other disasters like hails and storms, as evident in most Asian and European infrastructures. Concrete roofs were made to last a lifetime if only properly installed. A yearly inspection of your roof is enough to ensure that they are still in good condition.
If you are planning to choose concrete as your roofing material, you will not put your hard-earned money to waste because as you have read, concrete roofs are fire resistant.
Roofs installed with concrete tiles are the way to go. All you need is good cement, water, quality river sand, and you’re in business.

God Bless America.
Today, Sunday, May 8th is Mothers Day 2022. Why do we celebrate Mothers Day? For “the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world” – Anna Jarvis. The US holiday of Mother’s Day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at Saint Andrew’s Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Saint Andrew’s Methodist Church has an International Mother’s Day Shrine now to remember. Her campaign to make “Mother’s Day” a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis, died. The mother, Ann Jarvis, had been a peace activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the American Civil War. Ann created Mother’s Day Work Clubs to address public health issues. Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honor all mothers.
Happy Mothers Day
Traditional gifts to Mothers include: flowers, candy, a dinner at a nice restaurant or a spa treatment. Whatever you decide to do for your mother, remember to do something.
